Noel began his training with Paul
Sylvain Shihan while on the East Coast. He joined East Bay Aikido
after moving back to California in 1998. He currently holds the rank
of San Dan (3rd Degree Black Belt) from the
Aikido World
Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. In addition to being an outstanding aikidoist, he is an initiated Ifa Diviner (Babalawo) of the Yoruba in Nigeria, West Africa. During 2001-04 he moved to Birmingham, England to study for his PhD in African Studies. While there he trained with several sensei, predominately David Packer Sensei. |
